Chartering Time Will Tell
Congratulations! You've decided that you want to charter Time Will Tell! The next thought going thru your mind is "Now What?" Good question! Here is the basic process of how to go about it.
1 - Pick Your Dates
Once you know when you'd like to charter, go to the Rates and Availability Page to see if those dates are available. I try to keep it current - but like anything else in life, no guarantees! If it looks like TWT is available, contact me to confirm the dates are free.
2 - Accept Your Rate
When I get your email, I'll confirm that Time Will Tell is available, and email you back with a rate for the dates you've requested - remember, you're not paying the published rate because you're getting an Owner to You discount! I will also contact the management company to put a hold on that date for you. Once we are all in agreement, I will send you the contract, sailing resume, etc. for you to fill out and sign.
3 - Fill Out Your Paperwork and Make a Payment
Once you get your paperwork, fill out your portion, sign everything, and make your payment. Once everything is reviewed and accepted, your trip is confirmed (you'll see it on the Availability Calendar). If you need a captain for your trip, you'll know at this point (if you're worried about it, we can do the sailing resume ahead and I can get it reviewed so there are no surprises - of course, this is not an issue if you're booking a captain!).
You're Confirmed!
At this point your trip is confirmed! Now you just have the long wait until your trip - of course, then all the fun planning starts, picking out which islands you want to visit, who the small boat captain is, etc...
4 - Final Payment, Final Paperwork
60 days out, your final payment is due, and I'll be sending you the Crew Manifest (which doubles as your travel info so a taxi can be set up to pick you up and return you to either the airport or ferry in Tortola) and a Provisioning Form (in case you want to have provisions delivered to the boat - its an option available to you - or for your own planning purposes).
5 - Get to Paradise and Have a Great Vacation
This is the best step of all! Get down here, and have a great time, knowing you're on a fabulous boat, sailing among great islands, with nary a care in the world! Once you've done this, you're going to want to do it again and again!
